'When I first had the meeting with two amazing women wanting to start a girls group from 8+ years...my first thought was...oh how I wish I had this group when that age. I sadly was sexually abused at a young age, so my self-worth and identity needed alot of rebuilding. Grow Girls helps bring in the tools for this, both practically and spiritually.'

Reviews/Testimonials
'The messages presented at Grow Girls dovetail so beautifully with the truths that I am trying to instil in my daughters' hearts. It is such a help and an encouragement to have other women of valour sowing into my daughters' lives with such love, strength and positivity; reinforcing the messages they hear at home. My daughters also remember the simply-presented messages and are able to apply them to their lives at later points.'

'I am so excited by the ministry of Grow Girls. The teaching, interaction, fun and commitment given to these young girls is impressive. In a time of growth where girls need mentoring and principles to guide them through these formative years, Grow girls provides a safe place for learning and building confidence in navigating life. As a father of two girls, I know the importance of this ministry. As a pastor I fully support this pathway of helping girls to build self awareness and tackle the difficult issues of relationships and values while developing good self- esteem. There is a fantastic team leading this.'

GROW GIRLS PROGRAMME GUIDE FOR LEADERS
This programme guide gives you all the information needed about how to set up your own Grow Girls group within your community. It provides the framework of possible themes and topics to support term planning. As a living document, it is updated regularly with new and fresh material.
This theme is all about who GOD says we are! Delightfully handcrafted by Him, loved without measure and designed purposely for a hope filled future, our young women are women of destiny! This is a groundworks topic that we feel every girl needs to become strong in and know this deep down truth about her precious value & worth.

FRAMEWORK THEME: FRIENDSHIPS part one
Friendships and relationship building play a huge part in the lives of our young women. It is incredibly special to be around someone or others who 'get you' and you can relax and just be yourself around. Relationships can also be tricky and get messy fast, especially around this age where our young women are still learning who they are and how exactly do they fit in to the world around them? We have created a two part series for this topic covering the ups and downs of friendships (and more to be added) as we feel this is such an important theme!
FRAMEWORK THEME:
BULLYING
This theme deals with bullying and particularly with what is commonly known as 'mean girl' behaviour (though this can be applied to any gender). We think it's important for our young women to become more aware & knowledgeable about the signs of bullying so they can make good & wise decisions for both themselves and others around them.

FRAMEWORK THEME:
CHARACTER VALUES
In a world where everything can feel pearshaped, morals are declining and things are not quite what they seem, this theme is all about teaching our young women about the importance of Integrity and having an upright character.
Character values such as honesty, kindness & reaching out to help & encourage others are all ways our young women can grow in & even thrive, shining out like stars.
FRAMEWORK THEME:
GROWING STRONG LEADERS
A leader is someone who can passionately inspire & motivate others. They set an example for others to follow and want the best for those around them. Our young women can be powerful influencers in today's world and are never too young to set a Godly example in all they do. This theme is all about encouraging our girls to be the best they can be, strengthening them, lifting them up and cheering them on! xx

FRAMEWORK THEME:
Resilience
Where there are so many things that can trip us up, bring us down and shake up our world, RESILIENCE is a powerful character trait that demands our full attention! How can we prepare our young women for the ups and downs of what can often be a roller coaster life? This theme is all about equipping & preparing our girls for a life full of destined purpose, hope & beauty, despite the many obstacles & challenges that can come our
way!
God gave us emotions and they play an important part in our lives. They help us to communicate with & understand others and are powerful in infuencing our own actions. We wouldn't be human without them! However, because they are so powerful, we need to be careful our emotions don't start to overrule & control us instead of us controlling them! This theme gives us insight into many of the emotions we can feel and how we can manage them with God's help.

FRAMEWORK THEME:
All things Screens
With our young women growing up amongst a world full of screens and being known as the internet generation, we feel this is an important theme to cover and talk about with wisdom. This lesson is all about learning how to be more aware of what we are letting into our minds & hearts through what we read & watch based on God's standard. We love this verse in Philippians 4:8!
Whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy think on such things.
